The SPP report colloquium is an integral part of the Polartagung, while the SPP coordination workshop 2020 is scheduled directly after the conference.

Liebe Mitglieder der DGP,

Unter dem Thema "POLARGEBIETE, KLIMAWANDEL UND GESELLSCHAFT" lädt die
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Polarforschung herzlich zur 28.
Internationalen Polartagung nach Köln vom 6. bis 11. September ein!

Die Frist für die Anmeldung und Einreichung von Kurzfassungen für
Präsentationen (Vortrag und/oder Poster) endet am 30. April 2020. Das
Anmeldeformular (online auszufüllen) ist auf der Webseite verlinkt.

Die DGP-Mitgliederversammlung ist für Mittwoch, 9. September 2020,
geplant. Eine entsprechende Einladung erhalten Sie gesondert.

Das Berichtskolloquium des DFG-SPP 1158 "Antarktisforschung" ist
integraler Bestandteil der Polartagung. Der Koordinationsworkshop
schließt sich unmittelbar an (10. bis 11. September 2020).

Ausserdem möchte wir darauf hinweisen, dass der Montag (7. Sept. 2020)
ein Fokustag für Lehrerinnen und Lehrer sein wird. Details finden Sie
auf der Webseite bzw. werden dort zeitnah bereitgestellt.

Der Vorstand der DGP e.V. und die Gruppe von Prof. Martin Melles als
lokaler Veranstalter freuen sich sehr, Sie in Köln begrüßen zu können!

Under the motto "POLAR REGIONS, CLIMATE CHANGE and SOCIETY" the German
Society of Polar Research would like to cordially invite you to the 28
International Polar Conference in Cologne, 6 to 11 September 2020.

Detailed information can now be found in the 2nd Circular and on the

Deadline for registration and submission of abstracts is 30 April 2020.
At the website you will find the link to the online registration form.

The DGP members meeting will take place on Wednesday, 9 September 2020.
An invitation will be sent separately.

The report colloquium of the DFG Priority Program "Antarctic Research"
(SPP 1158) will be integral part of the International Polar Conference.
The coordination workshop will be held directly afterwards, from 10 to
11 September 2020.

Moreover, we would like to draw your attention to the fact, that Monday
(7 Sept. 2020) will be a Special Teacher Day. Details will be published
on the website.

The Steering Committee of the DGP and the group of Prof. Martin Melles
as local organizer are looking forward to welcome you in Cologne.
