The priority programme "Antarctic research with Comparative Investigations in Arctic Ice Areas" offers the possibility, as the title suggests, of also pursuing bipolar research approaches. This is made possible, for example, by the joint use of the German-French Arctic research base on Spitsbergen. Marion Maturilli is the contact person. The project proposals must be submitted in English and will be reviewed by a joint Franco-German user advisory board for feasibility and scientific quality. The project proposal submission shall be sent by email to the AWI-Potsdam (awipev_antraege(at)awipev.eu).However, a prior consultation with Dr. Marion Maturilli is strongly encouraged.
